Soccer Recap: Jersey Shore Takes a Loss

Jersey Shore lost against Lewisburg back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Green Dragons, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Jersey Shore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Lewisburg are ranked third).

Jersey Shore's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Lewisburg, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Jersey Shore wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Sullivan County on the 15th. As for Lewisburg, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against State College on the 13th.
