Baseball Recap: Grand Blanc Takes a Loss

Grand Blanc was the 5-0 winner over Jenison when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Grand Blanc has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Jenison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Blanc will square off against Bay City Western at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jenison, they will challenge Mona Shores at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sailors have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
