Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars.

It was another big night for Samuel Rodriguez, who went 7 for 11 en route to 16 points plus seven rebounds and five assists for Floresville. That's the most assists Rodriguez has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryland Parker, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Floresville, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will head out to square off against Medina Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Edison likes a good challenge. As for Floresville, they are taking a road trip to take on Young Men's Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Young Men's Leadership Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.6 points per game this season.
