Quitman won against Brookland on Saturday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Quitman Bulldogs walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Lonoke Jackrabbits. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Quitman's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lonoke, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Quitman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Bauxite on the 17th. As for Lonoke, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-1 victory against Southside on the 15th.
