Baseball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 8-5 to the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bernardians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 two weeks ago.

Auguster Speight was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Quabbin Regional on the 30th. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 15-5 defeat against Montachusett RVT on the 30th.
