Soccer Game Preview: Marlboro vs. North Brunswick

The Marlboro Mustangs will take on the North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders on Tuesday. Marlboro will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Marlboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand South Brunswick a 1-0 shutout. Give Marlboro's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, North Brunswick hadn't done well against Monroe Township recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The North Brunswick Raiders won by a goal and slipped past the Falcons 2-1. That's two games straight that North Brunswick have won by just one goal.

Marlboro's win bumped their record up to 8-3-4. As for North Brunswick, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.
