Baseball Recap: Port Angeles Comes Up Short at Home Against Ingraham

Port Angeles unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Ingraham Rams on Saturday, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Roughriders have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Port Angeles got a good showing from Maeson Grice, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Grice a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

Ingraham has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Port Angeles wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 win against North Mason on the 18th. As for Ingraham, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Lindbergh on the 19th.
