Basketball Recap: Wilson Central Comes Up Short

Wilson Central lost against Cookeville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wilson Central Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Cookeville Cavaliers. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Wilson Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Cookeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Wilson Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-55 defeat against Stewarts Creek on the 21st. As for Cookeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 54-53 loss against LaVergne on the 21st.
