Denver West won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Friday too. The Denver West Cowboys simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kennedy Commanders 70-40. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Denver West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tiden Silver-Colbert led the charge by going 8-for-11 en route to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Silver-Colbert continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaheim Taylor, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards.

When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, don't look at Quinn Padilla. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

Denver West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. Kennedy's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Denver West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-47 loss against Northfield on the 18th. As for Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-58 defeat against Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy on the 18th.
