Football Recap: Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Takes Down Ranked Richard Wright Public Charter School

Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering faced Richard Wright Public Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers snuck past the Spartans with a 32-28 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Zephan Pittman was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 142 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 87 yards on only 12 carries.

Pittman was just one part of a punishing run game: Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 246 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

They'll take on KIPP College Prep at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th. The contest will give the Spartans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
