Football Game Preview: Normangee Panthers vs. Groveton Indians

The Normangee Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Groveton Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Normangee hasn't scored more than 13 points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

It was a proper cat-fight when Normangee faced off against Leon on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 46-6 loss at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Groveton played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Corrigan-Camden and fell 43-7. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Normangee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Groveton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Normangee skirted past Groveton 28-26 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
