Softball Recap: Prentice Buccaneers vs. Edgar Wildcats
Sadly, Prentice is still looking for their first win of the season after eight games. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 13-0 walloping at the hands of the Edgar Wildcats on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Prentice of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.
For Edgar's part, Emery Borchardt was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Taylor Lemmer, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Prentice's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Edgar, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
