Softball Recap: Ellsworth Has No Trouble Against Osceola

While Ellsworth put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Osceola. The Panthers blew past the Chieftains 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Delaney Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Ava Whipple was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Ellsworth's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-5. As for Osceola, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ellsworth beat the Chieftains by a score of 14-7 later that day.
