Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 76-50 to the Fontana Steelers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1063rd, while the Steelers are ranked 400th).

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Fontana, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will square off against Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fontana, they will venture away from home to challenge Silverado at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Fontana's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
