Baseball Game Preview: Blytheville Chickasaws vs. Highland Rebels

For the second straight game, Blytheville will face off against Highland. The Chickasaws will be playing at home against the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blytheville hasn't scored more than a single run for six games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Blytheville came up short against Highland on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

For Highland's part, they got a massive performance out of Nate Huckabee, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Huckabee has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mason Sinclair, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Highland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 16-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Blytheville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
