Softball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boerne-Champion Chargers.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Boerne-Champion, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Coronado will face off against Amarillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Boerne-Champion, they will take on Antonian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
