Softball Recap: San Diego Triumphs

San Diego never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Comfort Bobcats/Deer 10-0.

The team relied heavily on Erianna Valdez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Addison Hernandez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

San Diego's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Comfort, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Diego will host Robstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vaqueros will need to watch out since the Cottonpickers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Comfort, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harper at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
