Soccer Game Preview: South Walton vs. Lake Highland Prep

The South Walton Seahawks will challenge the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Walton comes in on seven and Lake Highland Prep on five.

South Walton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Wolfson. Even though the Seahawks got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Brooks Lukow was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Lake Highland Prep who was credited with the win on Wednesday. Lake Highland Prep got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to Calvary Christian's six. Brooks Jaffe had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Highlanders.

Lake Highland Prep's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for South Walton, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
