Volleyball Recap: Murray County Find Success

Murray County lost to Trion back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

While Murray County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Kaydence Moses paced Murray County's offense, picking up six kills. Moses got some help from Josie Jones and her ten assists. Katherine Stone controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory got Murray County back to even at 4-4. As for Trion, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Murray County will take on Dade County at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Trion, they will square off against Model at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
