Volleyball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

Waverly lost against Olpe last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Waverly sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 24-26, 25-19.

Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10-5. As for Olpe, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-11.

Olpe has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 11th. Hopefully Waverly paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles on Tuesday.
