Baseball Recap: Brookland-Cayce Takes a Loss

Brookland-Cayce fell victim to Gilbert and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to the Indians when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brookland-Cayce saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Donadio, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Brookland-Cayce and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Gilbert, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.

While Brookland-Cayce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
