Soccer Recap: West Geauga Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, West Geauga has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hathaway Brown Blazers. That's two games in a row now that West Geauga have lost by just one goal.

Adison Cook and Faelynn Beckrest scored all three of West Geauga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

West Geauga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Hathaway Brown, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Geauga will square off against Geneva at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hathaway Brown, they will take on North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
