Basketball Recap: Warwick Piles Up the Points Against North Border Co-Op [Walhalla/Pembina]

After losing to North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] the last time they met, Warwick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warwick Warriors took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 77-27 win over the North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Warriors had established a 44 point advantage.

Warwick's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Feather Jr led the charge by dropping a triple-double on 25 points, 11 boards, and ten steals. The contest was Feather Jr's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Joramo, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds.

Warwick smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Warwick back to even at 1-1. As for North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina], with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Warwick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 89-53 win against Cavalier on the 28th. As for North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina], they will face off against Park River at 7:15 p.m. on January 3rd.
