The Eagles will challenge the Stallions at 6:30 p.m. North Broward Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
North Broward Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Clewiston a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Logan Bristol tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Alex Smith was a standout: he scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Brayden Hassel was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
North Broward Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clewiston only posted an OBP of .167.
Meanwhile, American Heritage was able to grind out a solid victory over Coral Springs Charter on Tuesday, taking the game 5-1.
American Heritage also got a great performance from Noah Garfinkel as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Garfinkel also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Stallions are 8-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, American Heritage's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Evan Fernandez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Fernandez is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Lucas Shahrabani, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
North Broward Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for American Heritage, their record now sits at 15-10.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. North Broward Prep has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like American Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
North Broward Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against American Heritage in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
