Basketball Recap: Constitution Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Constitution walked away with it. They came out on top against the Paul Robeson Huskies by a score of 56-47 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Constitution's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alantay Dawson, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Dawson posted five steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nick Young, who had 12 points and six boards.

Constitution pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points over those games. As for Paul Robeson, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

As of now, neither Constitution nor Paul Robeson have any future games scheduled.
