Volleyball Game Preview: Narbonne Gauchos vs. Rancho Dominguez Lobos

The Narbonne Gauchos will head out on the road to face off against the Rancho Dominguez Lobos at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Narbonne lost 3-0 to Banning on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Gauchos in their meetings with the Pilots: they've now lost three in a row.

Narbonne was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Banning work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Rancho Dominguez came up short against Carson on Monday, falling 3-0. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Rancho Dominguez was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Narbonne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rancho Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Narbonne skirted past Rancho Dominguez 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Narbonne repeat their success, or does Rancho Dominguez has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
