Soccer Recap: Tallmadge Takes a Loss

Tallmadge lost against Aurora back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Greenmen, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Tallmadge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while Aurora are ranked 76th).

Tallmadge's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-4. As for Aurora, they pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Tallmadge will square off against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tallmadge will be up against Cuyahoga Falls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.82 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Aurora, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 29th.
