Football Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Salem Tigers

The Buffalo Bison will square off against the Salem Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buffalo has given up an average of 33.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Buffalo's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Forsyth on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 43-0. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Panthers are ranked 105th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salem). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Cabool 33-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Buffalo's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Salem, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
