Softball Recap: Sevier County Smoky Bears vs. Jefferson County Patriots

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sevier County's offense. They fell victim to a rough 7-0 defeat at the hands of the Jefferson County Patriots on Thursday. Sevier County just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Sevier County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caylee Sutton, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base. Sutton is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played.

On Jefferson County's side, Olivia Mottern spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just zero earned runs on four hits.
