Softball Recap: Green County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Green County entered their tilt with Pulaski County on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Maroons. That's two games straight that the Dragons have won by just one run.

Green County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Pulaski County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17-2.

Looking ahead, Green County will take on Bethlehem at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Eagles/Banshees have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pulaski County, they will challenge Caldwell County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Maroons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
