Volleyball Recap: Charles Henderson Takes a Loss

Charles Henderson was the 3-0 winner over Dale County when they last played one another back in August of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Warriors on Tuesday.

While Charles Henderson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-8, 25-16.

Jaslyn Smith had a dynamite game For Dale County., getting seven aces and two blocks. Smith is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's had at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Leah Grace Snellgrove, who had five kills, five digs, and two aces.

Charles Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dale County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charles Henderson will face off against Luverne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dale County, they will venture away from home to face off against Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
