Baseball Game Preview: Brighton Bruins vs. Spencerport Rangers

The Brighton Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Spencerport Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Brighton has three straight wins, Spencerport has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Brighton barely beat Spencerport the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 9-2 victory on Monday. While the Bruins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

For Spencerport's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaeden Ford, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Spencerport, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
