Football Game Preview: Superior vs. St. Cecilia

Superior will challenge St. Cecilia on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.

Superior have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 23-7 win over Fillmore Central. No one put up better numbers for Superior than junior Hunter Healey, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 131 yards and 1 touchdown. In fact, with ten tackles Healey was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, St. Cecilia put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their match against Sandy Creek by a conclusive 24-0 score.

Their wins bumped Superior to 1-4 and St. Cecilia to 4-1. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
