Tabiona is 8-2 against Altamont since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Tabiona Tigers will get right back to it and host the Altamont Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tabiona has four straight victories, Altamont has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Tabiona narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Duchesne 58-56.

Meanwhile, Altamont lost to Tintic at home by a 61-43 margin on Saturday.

Tabiona will need focus on slowing down Briggs Wall, one of several Altamont players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Wall a new career-high in assists (three). Breyden Jessen was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, Altamont was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Tabiona has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Altamont, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Tabiona strolled past Altamont in their previous matchup on January 8th by a score of 73-55. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Jessen, who went 9 for 19 en route to 21 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Tabiona still be able to contain Jessen? There's only one way to find out.
