             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Lewis-Palmer, Palmer Ridge was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Discovery Canyon Thunder. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2023.
 One reason for the win was Palmer Ridge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17,  25-16.
 Palmer Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Amelia Hansen led the charge by  getting 13  kills, five  digs,  and five  aces. With that strong performance,  Hansen is now averaging an impressive 2.2  aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayce Campbell, who  had 13  assists.
 Palmer Ridge  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 20 consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Palmer Ridge's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Discovery Canyon, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
 Palmer Ridge has already played their next contest,  a  3-0  win against Cheyenne Mountain on the 3rd. As for Discovery Canyon, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Lewis-Palmer on the 3rd.
