Baseball Recap: Chiefland Finds Home Field Redemption Against Madison County

There's no place like home for Chiefland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Madison County Cowboys on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won four in a row.

Hunter Boyd looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Kelani Wilson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
