It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Tamarac ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the La Salle Institute Cadets 10-8. The win was some much needed relief for the Bengals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dylan Plante and Owen Blakesley made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Plante pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Meanwhile, Blakesley tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. At the plate, Plante went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Blakesley went 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Nicky Desso was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Karz, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
