Baseball Recap: St. Paul/Palmer Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, St. Paul/Palmer was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the Adams Central Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-3 defeat on Tuesday.

St. Paul/Palmer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layne Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

St. Paul/Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Adams Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Paul/Palmer nor Adams Central have any future games scheduled.
