Basketball Recap: Woodlawn's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Brook, Woodlawn was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Pell City Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 71-56. The victory was some much needed relief for the Colonels as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Woodlawn's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12. As for Pell City, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-23.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mountain Brook the next time they take the court. Pell City will head out to face Mountain Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Woodlawn will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
