Volleyball Game Preview: North Miami Warriors vs. Pioneer Panthers

The North Miami Warriors will take on the Pioneer Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

North Miami is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Hill just ended the team's eight-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Golden Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Pioneer waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win.

Pioneer never let Triton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for North Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

North Miami might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Pioneer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Panthers' Madyson Shaffer, who had 16 digs and seven aces. Now that the Warriors know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
