Basketball Game Preview: Pasco Bulldogs vs. Richland Bombers

Pasco is 0-10 against Richland since June of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Pasco Bulldogs will challenge the Richland Bombers at 7:30 p.m.

Pasco is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Southridge, falling 66-41. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

Meanwhile, Richland put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Southridge 89-51. Given the Bombers' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Suns are ranked 190th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richland pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.5 points per game. As for Pasco, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Pasco took a serious blow against Richland in their previous matchup on January 3rd, falling 87-42. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Pasco was down 44-23.
