Volleyball Recap: Beavercreek Beats Northmont for Their Third Straight Victory

Beavercreek had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Northmont Thunderbolts as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Beavercreek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean Gunzelmann out in front who had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Gunzelmann has posted since back in April of 2024. Harrison Barnett was another key player, getting 12 assists and two aces.

Beavercreek's record now sits at 8-6. As for Northmont, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Beavercreek will face off against Centerville at 6:45 p.m. on the 16th. As for Northmont, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Archbishop Alter on the 9th.
