Basketball Game Preview: Cape Elizabeth Capers vs. York Wildcats

Cape Elizabeth is 1-9 against York since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Cape Elizabeth Capers will square off against the York Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cape Elizabeth is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Leavitt.

Meanwhile, York ended up a good deal behind Gray-New Gloucester on Monday and lost 59-41. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Cape Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for York, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Cape Elizabeth took a serious blow against York when the teams last played back in January, falling 45-17. Can Cape Elizabeth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
