Basketball Recap: Ephraim Campbell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Dunbar

There's no place like home for Harvest Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 69-62 victory over the Dunbar Wolverines on Saturday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Harvest Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ephraim Campbell, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 15 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brandon Roddy, who went 6 of 12 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Dunbar lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jace Allen, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Allen a new career-high in blocks (three). Justyce Taylor was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards.

Harvest Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Harvest Prep has already played their next contest, a 79-48 win against Patriot Prep Academy on the 13th. As for Dunbar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-60 victory against Belmont on the 14th.
