Basketball Recap: Pritzker Comes Up Short

Pritzker had lost seven straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 5-11 to make it eight. They were outmatched by The Noble Academy Griffins and fell 91-35. The Jaguars lost against the Griffins in their previous head to head back in January of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 63-46 score last time.

Despite the loss, Pritzker saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rennard Fields posted 22 points. That was a full 62.9% of the Jaguars' points, marking the third time in a row Fields has scored more than a third of the team's points.

As for The Noble Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points over those games.

The Noble Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerry Blue out in front who put up 29 points. Those 29 points gave Blue a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Frost, who had 21 points.

Pritzker will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Shore International at 5:30 p.m. on February 10. As for The Noble Academy, they will face off against Lane Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
