Football Game Preview: Antelope Valley Antelopes vs. Palmdale Falcons + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Maddox Caldwell and Elleyon Clark are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Antelope Valley Antelopes will take on the Palmdale Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antelope Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Antelope Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 27-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastside on Thursday.

Although Antelope Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Juelz Mccoy and Caldwell.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Palmdale challenged Knight on Friday. The Falcons blew past the Hawks 26-6. With the Falcons ahead 20-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

A big part of Palmdale's win came down to the chemistry between Joshua Suarez and his top target Zason Walker. Suarez threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes while Walker picked up 89 receiving yards and one score. Walker's longest reception was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

Antelope Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palmdale, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Antelope Valley might still be hurting after the 35-14 defeat they got from Palmdale when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Antelopes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
