Volleyball Recap: Christ Covenant Comes Up Short

Christ Covenant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Hinds Academy Cougars. Christ Covenant was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Central Hinds Academy earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10.

Christ Covenant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Central Hinds Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Christ Covenant has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Heritage Academy on the 13th. As for Central Hinds Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Raymond on the 15th.
