Central came tearing into Tuesday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Florence Falcons by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central took both sets by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6.

Emeri Thompson paced Central's offense, picking up five kills. Thompson got some help from Caroline Butler and her 14 assists.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-21.
