Volleyball Recap: Hanceville Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Hanceville kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Point Warriors. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9.

West Point's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Hanceville has already played their next match (against Cleveland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Point, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cold Springs on the 21st.
