Softball Recap: Argos Has No Trouble Against Elkhart Christian Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Argos walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. Considering the Dragons have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Ivy Stackhouse's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 18 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adelyn Lewark and Ava Stackhouse did most of the damage at the plate: Lewark went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double, while Ava went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Stackhouse has posted since back in April.

Argos' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

As of now, neither Argos nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
